Subsidised Water Transport due to Kenepuru Road Closure

Due to storm damage in July the Kenepuru Road is under currently under repair. The Marlborough District Council is subsidising water taxi transfers from Havelock and Picton so you can still get out into the Kenepuru Sound easily and affordably. For example The Pelorus Mail Boat is operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays and is only charging $25 per person from Havelock to Hopewell. The Hopewell Water Taxi’s on demand service starts from $35 per person (with a two person minimum charge).
